Q1.
What about my own customized package?
A1. Though we have made our ordering system such that you can
customize your package to a large extent, but if you require
something special, email us and we'll surely try to work it out.

What about sub-domains?
A2. Yes you can have as many sub-domains as you like with only
limitation being bandwidth and disk space usage.
Q3.
What about adddon domains?
A3. We do not allow adddon domains to be hosted. If you are keen
to host more than one domain, please see our reseller packages.

What about excess bandwidth usage?
A4. Your bandwidth has a soft limit. We monitor the bandwidth
used by the websites carefully and if we see that you are approaching
your limit, we'll email you to increase your bandwidth so that
your website does not suffer. If you do not increase so, then

What about upgrades?
A5. If you want to upgrade your package(s), it will be upgraded
on as is basis. This means that any upgrades will only last as
long as your package lasts. All upgrades are charged flat fees.

A6. What is allowed and what is not allowed is clearly mentioned
in our Authorized Usage Policy. Your website should confirm with

Do you register domain names? Your URL?
A7. Yes we certainly do register domain names. You can follow

Must my domain name be registered through you to host my website
with you?
A7. Hosting a website has nothing to do with from which registrar
or authority you have registered your domain with. You only need
to setup the nameservers pointing to the location of the hosting
of your website.

Through which registrar do you register your domain names?
A9. We are resellers for Directi an ICANN accredited registrar.

Do I get a control panel for domain management?
A10. Yes you do get a control panel for every domain registered
through us.

I need to register both a domain name and setup its hosting.
How to go about?
A11. Hosting we have kept separate from domain registrations.
If you have'nt already registered your domain name, you can register

Q12. What control panel
do you offer?
A12. You are provided with a world class hosting controller software
CPanel. Upon signing up, you'll be given username/password for
your website's control panel. All things you need to do as a
webmaster can be done through CPanel. Manage email accounts,
FTP accounts, MySQL accounts, webstats (Webalzer and Awstats),
manage sub domains, manage URL forwarding, protect directories
etc. You can access CPanel in one way.

What nameservers I need to setup for my domain name to host
my website with you?
A13. You need to setup these nameserver to host your website
with us.

I have set my nameservers to the ones which you require, but
still it shows up the old website or no website at all?
A14. This is because your nameserver changes need to be propagated
all around the world before any thing happens. This usually takes
24-72 hrs.

I want to setup my own nameservers with my domain name appended
to it. How to go about?
A15. This kind of setup needs to be done at the domain registrar's
end. But if you have registered you domain name through us, you
can easily set this up through your domain control panel. Please
email us for detailed instructions.

How many email accounts will you setup for me?
A16. Though you can setup as many email accounts as you desire
so, but initially we'll provide you with one default email account
whose ID will be same as you CPanel username.

Is the default account catch-all account?
A17. Yes, the default account is a catch all account. Though
later you may setup any account as catch all account.
Q18.
What setting do I need to use in order to use my email account
through a POP client like Outlook Express?
A18. Following settings apply to an email client like Outlook
Express.
POP Server -> mail.<yourdomain.dom>
SMTP Server -> mail.<yourdomain.dom>
Username -> will be same as CPanel username or <usercreatedaccount>@<yourdomain.dom>

I am not able to send the mail through Outlook Express. Why
so?
A19. There may be several reasons why you may not be able to
send your mail through Outlook Express. But pretaining to out
hosting services, there are only two possibilties.
a)You have entered wrong SMTP server.
b)You have not checked your mail through Outlook Express in last
30 minutes. This mechanism is used to prevent open-relaying through
our SMTP servers.

Do you provide webmail?
A20. Yes. There is one way of checking your mail as web mail.

What about IMAP?
A21. Yes we do provide IMAP facility.

What about auto responders?
A22. Yes we do provide autoresponders. If the account for the
auto-responder address does not exist, mail will not be thrown

have corresponding accounts created.

What is the CGI-BIN dir?
A26. The path to CGI-BIN directory is <home-dir>/public_html/cgi-bin.
Additionally all files ending with .cgi or .pl will be treated
as CGI scripts.

My PERL or CGI scripts do not run. Why so?
A27. The reasons your PERL or CGI scripts do not run can be
a)You have set the wrong path to the PERL executable. It should
point to /usr/bin/perl.
b)It should be chmod to 755 mode.
c) A PERL script should not be uploaded as a binary file.
